The Sports Exchange

The inside track for those who need to know

Hi all, just in case anyone is interested in following it, heres the address for a blog i have started.

Just done it to keep a track of my betting, and try and give me a little bit more discipline and focus, at a perceived time of change for in running betting on horse racing if it is to be that.

Hi there Soul Mate, we posted much the same at the same time! Are you the spiritual alternate to John Tuohy, maybe, or just a passing buddy?

I'm off to have a look at your blog-spot and thanks for telling us about it. It'll give us something to compare with the Sports Punter's ambitious efforts to make us all rich - as I'm older than all of you, I cant hang about!
Cheers

Its not really about tips and getting rich quick, its more about keeping the results going as i have been for the last 8 or so years, and initially proving to myself at least that these latest probable changes can be adapted to.

Main hope is that by posting the profit and loss and keeping a track of it, it will help me buckle down to the job at hand, without the chasing gambles here and there, which always seem to balance out, but give me the stress of the big ups and downs. Dont want to be posting any chase bets, good or bad, which others always seem to end up doing on their blogs.

Good luck with all your bets.
Cheers mate.

Been outside doing some work before the winter takes a grip up here in Aberdeenshire.
Managed a 3/4 day today on the computer.
Will be off for 3 weeks on holiday from mid November, so may start it off on new years day, main aim was to try and get something up and running.
Time is a bit short at minute and quite a few days going to be missing obviously with the holiday.

May try and post a bit more often on here if some good debates about.

Finally got some free time, so the blog is now up and running finally.
Blimey, there's a delayed action response: EIGHT MONTHS !

Mustnt rush these blogging decisions, John. Good luck, we're still wittering away here, dont get the time either just now, but it's always exciting when people pop up with comments.
Hi John

re In running betting

worth a look at times is Dave Renhams blog http://www.racingtrends.co.uk/racing/

Not quite sure what your own style is.
Dave above uses his custom pace figures.
pace figures in this sense just a means of trying to measure a horses tendancy to front run.
He has also done quite a bit of research into which tracks front runners do better at ( pace biased tracks )

Typically Dave may try and bet high pre race and lay of in running.
Use of his pace data determines his selections for such bets.

There is a paid for service provided that includes provision of pace data.
A free trial or test is normally not a problem if you ask nicely. :)
