Where do you get to when promoted from the Hellenic League? Up in the Gods on Mount Olympus maybe. Is there a Bar at this Club of yours? Another pink gin here, steward.
Certainly is a bar.

I shall have to make a few discreet enquiries,

Medium sized club room.

Would accomodate 100 plus people.

No doubt available for private hire.

Adjacent to Prudentail IBIS club, and Rivers Leisure Club.

We shall have to take you down there one day.

Next HOP meeting Monday 6th July 6pm The Cross Keys.

I hope to attend, as RTFC committe meeting is 7.30pm the same evening, so I can kill two birds with one stone.

AGM is the previous Friday 3rd July 7.30pm.

The Ladies Football Club AGM is on Sat 4th July so I might put in appearance at that one as well. We shall see time permitting.

Did you say something about Women's Football at some point. Shirts, etc..

We will be looking for sponsors shortly, so any ideas much appreciated.
We supply the world's LADY FOOTBALLERS, players, WAGS and supporters. Find us at http://www.footiechick.co.uk">http://www.footiechick.co.uk maybe .com. Great style kit and keen prices. ManU and the rest. Lets get details before your Ladies' Football Club AGM [All Girls Meeting, how do you get in?].

Just filling in time here whilst waiting for rain to stop at QUEENS.

Another blob for Ponting, how does he stay in the job?
I had a snappy little number drafted just now and its disappeared. Apologies if it pops up somewhere inappropriate.

Had a case last week, something I wrote for The Sports Exchange popped up unannounced on our smart lawyers site www,testLaw.ning.com - much sucking of teeth, tut-tut-ing.

Anyway, they've now met J20, The Gambler, and will probably join us on The Sports Exchange. [Fat chance - Ed].
The club is ambitious but their progress is being held back by lack of cash.
Hope their new business development manager manages to come up trumps!!
Look out for a story about the club and perhaps even a picture of JT in the new GetReading paper on Friday,
Delivered free to 72,000 homes in the area.

Just joined the site......what do you want to talk about????
Whatever you want?

Whereabouts in Crete are you going?
I am not to sure but I will miss a few pre-season games, so you will have to keep me posted via forum how they are getting on.
Will do as best I can. :-).
Early pre-season friendly results.

RTFC won 3-0 against Purton.

Last night 1-1 against Finchampstead.

Quick report from our roving reporter "Stan".

To date we have won all our friendly matches, except yesterday we drew 1-1 with Finchampstead. We were 1 nil up at half time (should have been 3 nil) and took off 4 players to give reserve players a try in second half. 1st team Goalkeeper was also rested along with 2 first team players.

It was a good match and l believe we could do well in early season Cup matches.

Our first home match at Scours Lane is not until 1st August. All current home matches are played at Cantley Park, Wokingham.
Meanwhile at Reading Town Football Club Ladies Fixture List has just been published.

First game 16 August away to Newquay. Bit of a stroll.

First home game 23 August home to Yeovil Town. Sounds like quite a pleasant way to spend a Sunday Afternoon in mid August sunshine.

More details to follow.
