The Sports Exchange

The inside track for those who need to know

Welcome to the Tennis Forum. Guess what? This is a forum about Tennis. It is for mmebers and readers who like, playing, reading, watching, writing, or even having an occasional bet on Tennis.

Let us start with a plug about London Tennis:- http://www.londontennis.co.uk/

But come back after you watched the video. And some people claim this was my idea? I use to run The London Tennis Network. What a racket? Paul was a Tennis Coach based in South London, and he was into similar ideas. I let him get on with it, as I got too busy in the virtual world of IT Consulting. He seems to have done a good job of it. I expect Paul and some of his members to join the Sporting Exhange making contributions about Tennis, and whatever else they are into. Promoting their events and activities, and encouraging more people to get out there and Play Tennis.

Paul is organising an event next week, and I will put more details in the Event section later.

TENNIS TRADING: for The Gambler aka J2E to devote time to LAWN TENNIS on the opening day of Ascot [not a tennis tournament - Ed] is a fantastic feature.

We await the definitive guide to betting on the soft-ish yellow ball. We know John's posts on outdoor, English sports though, dont we? It's all down to the weather, or lack of it. When I was at the Australian Open a year or two back, they closed the roof and it took two hours to stabilise the air-con; what a racquet.

What news of Rafa Nadal meanwhile (Spanish knee) and Andy Roddick (Queens ankle syndrome). Where are the brave punters piling in based on 'leaked' medical bulletins? We demand to know.

Meanwhile, back at The All-England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club - another silver goblet of Pimms here, steward!
Uproar in The Times about betting abuses on the greensward. What do we think of that then? Drugs and all, we are told...
