Charity Football Match 2nd August.

FORMER Reading and Arsenal players are to meet in a memorial match at Reading Town’s ground next month.
Adie Williams, Mick Gooding, Jimmy Quinn and Michael Gilkes have already expressed an interest in playing for the old Royals.
Reading heavyweight boxer Michael Sprott is set to add some extra punch to the side.
And the squad will be boosted by Radio Berkshire presenter Tim Dellor and getreading columnist Ben Rice.
The match is being played at Reading Town’s ground in Scours Lane on Sunday, August 2 (2.30pm).
It is being organised by Dan Leahy in memory of his brother Sean, who lost his fight against bowel cancer at the Duchess of Kent House last October when just 27.
Sean supported both Reading and Arsenal.
Proceeds will go to the Duchess of Kent House.
“It is a wonderful place that offers care of the highest quality, and this is my way of thanking them,” said Dan.
“I’m planning on making this an annual event which will get bigger in years to come.”
Dean hopes to be able to announce the names of other old Reading players and the Arsenal squad within the next week.
Old players and any other local celebrity keen to play should contact Dan on 07976 818330.
Admission to the match will be £6 for adults and £3 for children.
