The inside track for those who need to know

It is a Bank Holiday in the UK, so quite a lot of sport on. Tennis, Football, Cricket. All kicks off at 10am and should keep us entertained for most of the day. Couple of jobs to do today, including cooking dinner, as Mrs. G will be busy working, getting prepared for the week ahead.

There is probably some horse racing on today as well.Perhaps one of our "resident" horse racing experts "Philip, "John", or whoever likes a bet on the gee-gees might like to add a post giving us their selections today. Goverment health warning. When I used to back on horses, I always though betting on a bank holiday was a "disaster waiting to happend. Too many meetings. Too many "average" horses trying to pick up a place or a win at some god-forsaken "flapping track" in the middle of nowhere. A famous betting coup was pulled off in the 70's on a bank holiday taking advantage of too much information, too much rubbish racing on a bank holiday for anyone to notice that they had just been conned.

If anyone would like to post or comment on any other subject. Sport, gambling, trading, questions or whatever please feel free to do so.
