So what do we make of the Great 'Debate', bring back the Westminster roist-about, say I.

Little heat, less light, no rows and shouting matches, dull to the point of
extinction, no chance for the 'audience' to fire the unexpected shot at
the posed, poised, polished contenders. Giving an unhealthy appearance
of being able to work together, these three grey-suited men pandered to
the public's reported desire for a hung parliament.

Sky reckon Cameron won with 41%, ITV poll says Clegg on 43% (Cameron 26%), all
agree Brown was in the low 20s, great clunking fist and all (noticeably
absent, is Gordo on St Johns Wort?). A technical draw between the top
two, maybe. Lets see as the contest hots up for next Thursday.

Ladbrokes show the Tories still at 1/8 to have largest number of seats, Labour out to 5/1 (4/1 yesterday).
