The inside track for those who need to know

FootballMad offers raving loonie tips from our football tipster

FootballMad, the football Tipster we are offering in conjunction with our buddies Matchbet. Bet on the Matchbet exchange at www.matchbet.com. Find the footie tips at 'Tipster' link on Matchbet site.

As Ben Smith, a fellow member, told us last week:
Matchbet have introduced a really exciting new feature, the 'tipster' service. What they do is actually allow tipsters to not only recommend bets but allow Matchbet to publish them and later to publish the p/l of the portfolio.
I might try my hand myself, once you have a track record you can then charge others for the tips. Good idea!

And tell us all about it here on The Sports Exchange. Now talked about on Twitter - we've really arrived!

Ah well, after a purple patch at the start our monster raving loonie FootballMad has taken a bit of a knock this weekend - but nil desperandum, battered but unbowed, and he and others will be back next week! If you reckon you can do better, have a go, set up your own tipster punts and tell us about them.

You never know, we might start awarding POINTS - and you know what that means: POINTS mean PRIZES.

Blimey, I wish the arch gambler John 2E was back amongst us, this is technical stuff and needs his skilled input; I am wiped out by the cataclysmically pathetic efforts by the GB Davis Cup tennis invalids. Tennis GB (if thats what its called) trousers £25m pa from Wombleydon and £30m over 5 years from Aegon, and they wheel out this load of juvenile embarrassment - so we now compete with Monaco, Ireland and other towering giants of the Developed World. Enough of this, onwards and upwards!

This is a joint effort (us and Matchbet) and we have always intended to drive Tipster activity in a range of sports and events. What's needed are tipsters! You, you and you needed as volunteers in your specialist field - there are some great experts on the Sports Exchange. And we are connecting the two sites so we can all read the whole thing on the Sports Exchange, and click across to the betting exchange without leaving our site.
Early days...

Yes, agree, Matchbet have had a great idea there, but they should add tips on cricket, tennis, rugby;
but their 'table' allowing people to tell them what we want to bet on, not the other way round, is brilliant
