The French Open, dull old clay but at least the sun shines at Roland Garros and the scents of Ambre solaire and garlic mix with the natural scents of unprotected under-arm cooling as this pot-pourri of national identity wafts over the second-best Euro tennis stadium.

Good site at www.rolandgarros.com and www.smarkets.com are carrying a market at least for the continuing duel between les soeurs williams.
