Hung parliaments scare the daylights out of the financial/banking mandarins. Because they prefer to shout the odds with a single, power-endowed politician than a difficult-to-bully Group representing the will of our People!
Banks etc LOST all their money. WHY ON EARTH do most politicians feel that we are somehow OBLIGED to bankrupt ourselves to save THEM from bankruptcy??
Sheer lunacy if it was presented as a childrens' cartoon!
"Hey, I lost all my sweeties, so I'm going to take all of yours. That's the only way to make me smile again, and give you a sweetie, occasionally, when it suits me, not you"....

Sheer bluddy LUNACY!

How many ways can you sum the simple maths of the election results? And still miss the point. Go to www.smarkets.com and place some hefty wagers on the ongoing political choices.

Bad for Britain, Good for Political Betting! And have a go with our Matchbet markets, follow the Exchange Betting link above. Lots of new markets coming soon, persevere, its worth it!

Well, maybe bad for the nation but it sure is good for political betting. Roll on the next election!

The Matchbet market is an interesting one. It is, effectively, a private 'closed' market, trading within itself and its members. So, there could be markets that are more advantageous than you might find on the High St. And of course you always have the option to propose different odds and see if they are matched.

Matchbet is a highly versatile trading forum which the active punter would be well advised to explore.

Whether Mr Speaker Bercow has had a reprieve due to the lamentable plane crash of Mr Farage remains to be seen. I did see one seat was withdrawn from the poll due to the premature death of a candidate. Rum do.
