Notts managed a 2-2 draw against a Liverpool X1 on Friday which was a decent reult following their 2-1 vicyory over local rivals Forest. Lee Hughes has shown quality and with luck County should be able to get some good players to join them.

Fantastic new activity on the site from the recent, most welcome, influx of new blood. The rest of us are in a post-Test haze of euphoria after the amazing stuff from Lords and the great coverage we enjoyed though the efforts of \The Badger, Sports Punter and Co.
This all looks really purposeful, albeit a whiff of autumn is swirling down the editorial corridors [come on, we all know its pissing down out there - Ed].
