There was some yesterday.

There will be some today.

There will be some tomorrow, and probably quite a lot at the weekend.

I guess the highlight today will be Royal Ascot. Caught a bit of it yesterday, but not a lot. May catch some more today.

Has everyone lost interest in Horse Racing:- "The Sport of Kings"? The prices they charge at Ascot I am not surprised. Only a King or a Queen could afford a day out at RA? Talking of Queens why do they spend so much time talking about Fashion, and who cares what colour hat she is wearing?

Big news for me today will be the announcement of Premier League Fixtures. 1st game 15 August. Three days after Holland play England in friendly international.

Cant afford to go to Ascot, and cant afford to go to footie. Its all a racket, the little man has been left out of the gameplan. They're all taking the mickey. The TV coverage of Ascot is puerile, celeb-centric and a waste of time. Re my post on hats, Ronnie Corbett was shown greeting W Carson, RC's hat was grey and squat, WC's was high and black; RC was a short head higher than WC, marginally topped by Claire Balding, the Pink Panther of the day.
