Sea Crest 3.10 Haydock - a Mel Brittain gamble to watch

The last horse the Brittain stable sent to Haydock which was heavily supported was Sea Rover, and he was backed from 33-1 into singlle figures and won. It's interesting his Sea Crest has already attracted support. He's 9.6 to back on BF but you can still get 10-1 with Betfred and 9-1 generally. Will give us an immediate trading position, so a little investment is probably the right call.

Forced Opinion 4.20 Yarm - First move of the day

Jimmy Quinn riding for Kevin Morgan at Yarmouth - a track where both have had a few winners. Around 8.6 - 9 to back. Definite trading position and I expect that price to contract considerably. Get on!

Shocking news about us

Mrs Ron said and I quote... “it’s very sad, a bunch of old men on an internet chat room”... very cheeky, I am not normally a very violent person but must admit that I felt like taking my belt to her back and giving her a jolly good thrashing.

Little Sark 2.10 Chepstow - gamble waiting to happen?

Currently 17.5 on Betfair this horse looks like it's just ready to be gambled on. Trained by in-form David Evans and ridden by Jamie Spencer and available at that price!? Didn't stay 2m last time but has good claims on runs prior to that. 1m4f should suit, as should the ground, and one has to think there is a trading position to be had at the 17.5 win price.

Am I missing something on the cricket?

Aussies are 5.8 on BF to win the series but 6.2 to win the series 2-1?!

As 2-1 is the only result they can win by I bought a some of it and I I hope efficiencies will be efficient :)

When the Betfair masses get it wrong

Yesterday's racing from Goodwood went to prove that the 'informed' masses got it wrong and that the Channel 4 (or any other TV coverage) team, and their opinions, influence the Betfair markets more than anyone.

Take the market drifts of Zaccinto and Midday. Both competed in races in which the form and potential of the runners was markedly clear. Both were by far the best horses in their respective races, but the exaggerated reporting regarding ground conditions (it wasn't ever as bad… Continue

3rd Test

Looks like England could put Australia under pressure this evening and tomorrow, Currently 60 in from with 40 overs left today they could do with 20 overs at the Aussies tonight so a lead of anything over 120 would be interesting.
