Footie Tipsters fighting back on Matchbet betting exchange

Stupefy has had a better Premiership this weekend, with three correct forecasts, out of five matches. on Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal. Stupefy didnt, though, anticipate Villa's goalfest over Burnley; nor Everton's handsome margin over ManU.

FootballMad, our resident specialist, was raving elsewhere and didnt post his forecasts; we eagerly await his next pronouncements. Remember, look at… Continue

Hot tip from Shrewsbury expert

Urgent message from Graham in Shrewsbury, with IMPORTANT NEWS for the membership:

Morning Gordon, Yes I love my racing and definitely enjoy a bet. My main selection for today is Elusive Fame in the 3.30 at Southwell

(theres nothing like putting your head in the noose) 3-1 I think is a

sporting price. I also enjoy a bet on football - silly things like

corners and bookings. Big match tonight with Becks facing Man U looking

forward to that one. Good Luck… Continue

Three cheers for our founder

John Tuohy ('J2E') is back home, sitting up and taking notice, and I spoke to the great man yesterday evening. We are meeting on Thursday and I hope this will lead to a gentle resumption of his skilled and pithy comments on sporting matters.

He is having intensive physio exercises on his typing finger, so no eacuses there.

Their launch/relaunch last week was "red all over" - just getting my sights in, mouthed FootballMad through gritted teeth. His buddy, Stupefy, was nowhere to be seen in the editorial corridors of The Sports Exchange [quite right, hallowed… Continue

Recreational Drugs anyone?

I am being urged by a doctor friend of mine to eschew alcohol (my recreational drug of long habit) in favour of other substances. It'll probably improve my blogging style [that wont be difficult - Ed] and will do me less damage, Dr Drug tells me. He's a big cheese in the medical uses of cannabis and opium - prescribed not proscribed, I suppose.

This is all a closed book to me, I was learning to be a chartered accountant during the Flower Power days and it all passed me by, any tips… Continue

Snouts in the Trough

I am indebted to Guido Fawkes, proprietor of the non-party-san political blog, for exhaustive coverage of the financial affairs of our elected Members. Read him on www.order-order.com (or something similar) and in The Thunderer column of The Times yesterday (not his best form, I have to admit, perhaps a bit cowed by the printed page).

The sheer dexterity and penny-pinching ingenuity of these average sort… Continue
