Welcome Mario.

Mario is officially our member number 50. Welcome. The more the merrier.

Now we can do better. We have hit 50. The next target is 100. If everyone can get at least one of their friends to join, then we will hit 100. At that poimt the "site" will take care of itself. The chat room will be busy at some points during the week. Members will initiate discussions, post mini-blogs, add events, post comments, and we should get some lively discussions going, and who knows the odd… Continue

Sunday Morning Blog.

More sport on TV from 10am. French Open Tennis and Rugby Sevens.

European Golf on from 1.30pm on Sky.

Jeev Meeka Singh is best price 7/4 and Rory McIlroy is 9/2. I would expect the winner to come from one of thes two. Over in the US Tim Clark is leading by two. I thought Vijay might have got a bit closer, and would not be surprised if he has a bit of a go today. Tiger is back next week, and the US Open, which is on Sky is fast approaching. The other US tournaments are on… Continue

Saturday Mug Punts

John Terry - 2.50 Goodwood

Beacon Lodge - 3.05 Haydock

Bahamian Babe - 3.45 York

I'm playing £1 each way on each today, plus a 50p ew treble.

That's £7 staked and that's a LARGE punt for me, so wish me luck!

Cheers, and good luck to all who fancy Rangers for the Scottish Cup!

I now risk upsetting John T as I'm on the side of Everton in the FA Cup Final. Sorry John.

Mind you, now that I've declared my hand on… Continue

This Mornings Blog.

Yesterdays sport was a bit dull. Serena Williams got beat. Murray won. Lancashire beat Yorkshire in a very low scoring 2020 match. Today more of the same, plus British Lions first tour match, and the FA Cup Final. Chelsea to win 2-1. Anelka to score the first goal. Lampard the second. Cahill the consoation goal if he is playing. I fancy Jeev Meeka Singh to win the Golf. Check out the best prices on the exchanges or oddschecker.com.

Back at 7.30am. Check out my other site.… Continue

50 not out and running well

The Exchange (or whatever its called today) has reached 50 members and activity on our Google Analytics 'spy-in-the-cab' shows three times that in daily visits, signalling many potential new members. As well as long, lingering visits to popular blogs; and an unsatisfied hunger for some 'authoritative' discussion stuff on the lines of John 2E's brilliant exposition of Cricket Trading.

Offers to party from international betting sites, as well as the odd local one. So we're grabbing… Continue

United or Barcalona.

Who will win tonight's "Big Match"

The whole world will be watching.

I think United will pick up the trophy.

0-0 at half-time.

2-0 at full-time,

Who do you think will win/lose or draw?

Vote now,

Comments/discussion welcome.

Where are the best prices?

Where is the value?

Is it one to trade in-running, or is it one to sit back and enjoy?

What is YOUR strategy?

Tennis Trading on The French Open.

Anyone attempting to trade on The French Open Tennis watching it "LIVE" on "Eurosport should check out this website immediately. http://www.rolandgarros.com/en_FR/index.html

Click on live scores. Watch the tennis on Eurosport, and watch the scoreboard for the same match on this website at the same time. You will see the website scorline change seconds before the winning shot or unforced error is made. It highlights the perils of betting on "live" events in-running, especially when… Continue

This Morning's Blog.

Hello.

The cricket is on. West Indies won the toss and chose to bowl. England 59-0 after 12 overs. Just under 5 an over. Not bad for a ODI.

Switched on Tennis. They are showing Agassi who retired a couple of years. Obviously the rain has stopped play. Both events may be subject to rain delays later in the day.

I am a bit tired at the moment, but may return to these events later in the day.

Bank Holiday Monday Mug Punt Stuff

No racing on the jellyvision today! Farcical - some nice fields and great weather, so why no Sport of Kings on the box? Never mind. I'll just have a small wager and leave it until this evening to see how much I've won. LOL.

Jimmy Quinn was my old ballroom coach and Jimmy Fortune is riding Master of Dance in the 1.30 Goodwood today so this has to be my nap of the week: MASTER OF DANCE 1.30 Gdwd.

Actually, this horse does have a pretty… Continue

Monday Morning Blog.

It is a Bank Holiday in the UK, so quite a lot of sport on. Tennis, Football, Cricket. All kicks off at 10am and should keep us entertained for most of the day. Couple of jobs to do today, including cooking dinner, as Mrs. G will be busy working, getting prepared for the week ahead.

There is probably some horse racing on today as well.Perhaps one of our "resident" horse racing experts "Philip, "John", or whoever likes a bet on the gee-gees might like to add a post giving us their… Continue

Is this a Gentlemen Only Club?

Apart from the legal eagles from BF having a go at name of the site it could be that the sex discrimination act will be invoked unless a few lady members are allowed in. Or would we blackball any female sporting types? Just a fort.

Saturday Double: I live in hope

CALLIGRAPHER 3.25 Newmarket

DESERT CREEK 3.45 Haydock

Not going to be much in the way of big prices, but the writing is on the wall for Calligrapher (now that I'm on it!).

Desert Creek is, imo, a sound bet and if I had "Bert's" dosh I'd have a max bet on Desert Creek, especially after the poor showing of his Max One Two Three today. Bad luck Bert, but she just didn't seem at all keen to me.

Cheers and good luck to all on the Spurting… Continue

New name

Sorry to be a killjoy but I imagine Betfair's lawyers may have a problem with the new name since they own the trademark 'The Sporting Exchange' (a Google search will confirm). How about 'The Sporting Interchange', 'The Sporting Mix' or something similar - however, as you can guess, my background isn't in the creative professions :-)

This Morning's Blog.

Tons of Sport on Today.

Top horse race of the day "Irish 200 Guineas" from The Curragh. Does anyone fancy anything in the guineas or elsewhere? Start up a "Today's Horse Racing" blog, or leave a comment here, or in the chatroom below.

Cricket on at 10.30 FPR 1/4 finals. Not sure what game they are showing on Sky, but should be worth watching and trading on, if you are prepared to watch it for most of the day.

Monaco Grand Prix at 12.10am. That must be the… Continue
