Loyal Greetings to HRH

A rousing chorus of the National Anthem just now prompts The Sports Exchange to send that great sportsman HRH Prince Philip many happy returns of the day on his **th birthday. A while back, I read he owned the largest number of racing greyhounds (quoted in the prospectus for the Hackney track, I think).

Need to know: our sister sites

You may find it hard to believe, but there are more sites like The Sports Exchange out there, with their own members and enthusiasms. 50 not out and running well

The Exchange (or whatever its called today) has reached 50 members and activity on our Google Analytics 'spy-in-the-cab' shows three times that in daily visits, signalling many potential new members. Say thank you to the nice Barney Frank

Who he? you ask. Well, he's a Yank, hence the silly name. He is also the chairman of the House financial services committee. He is bringing in legislation to legalise internet gambling in the US and has cross-party support though the Vegas operators see it as a threat.

There are some faintly relevant ads down the right hand side of this page. These are provided by the Google Boys who peer into our activities and discussions and generate ads that they deem topical, appropriate, lawful and useful. Bank Holiday viral attack

Viral blogging has struck The Gambling Exchange with a disruptive host of new members who picked up the infection from the neighbouring site of The Gambler.

We all go through life meeting people, dropping old acquaintances, losing touch with the odd friend or family member, picking up with some of them, and occasionally finding a real buddy.
