Anyone attempting to trade on The French Open Tennis watching it "LIVE" on "Eurosport should check out this website immediately. http://www.rolandgarros.com/en_FR/index.html
Click on live scores. Watch the tennis on Eurosport, and watch the scoreboard for the same match on this website at the same time. You will see the website scorline change seconds before the winning shot or unforced error is made. It highlights the perils of betting on "live" events in-running, especially when…

Hello.
The cricket is on. West Indies won the toss and chose to bowl. England 59-0 after 12 overs. Just under 5 an over. Not bad for a ODI.
Switched on Tennis. They are showing Agassi who retired a couple of years. Obviously the rain has stopped play. Both events may be subject to rain delays later in the day.
I am a bit tired at the moment, but may return to these events later in the day.
Check out my other website…

No racing on the jellyvision today! Farcical - some nice fields and great weather, so why no Sport of Kings on the box? Never mind. I'll just have a small wager and leave it until this evening to see how much I've won. LOL.
Jimmy Quinn was my old ballroom coach and Jimmy Fortune is riding
Master of Dance in the 1.30 Goodwood today so this has to be my nap of the week:
MASTER OF DANCE 1.30 Gdwd.
Actually, this horse
does have a pretty…

It is a Bank Holiday in the UK, so quite a lot of sport on. Tennis, Football, Cricket. All kicks off at 10am and should keep us entertained for most of the day. Couple of jobs to do today, including cooking dinner, as Mrs. G will be busy working, getting prepared for the week ahead.
There is probably some horse racing on today as well.Perhaps one of our "resident" horse racing experts "Philip, "John", or whoever likes a bet on the gee-gees might like to add a post giving us their…

Apart from the legal eagles from BF having a go at name of the site it could be that the sex discrimination act will be invoked unless a few lady members are allowed in. Or would we blackball any female sporting types? Just a fort.

CALLIGRAPHER 3.25 Newmarket
DESERT CREEK 3.45 Haydock
Not going to be much in the way of big prices, but the writing is on the wall for Calligrapher (now that I'm on it!).
Desert Creek is, imo, a sound bet and if I had "Bert's" dosh I'd have a max bet on Desert Creek, especially after the poor showing of his Max One Two Three today. Bad luck Bert, but she just didn't seem at all keen to me.
Cheers and good luck to all on the

Sorry to be a killjoy but I imagine Betfair's lawyers may have a problem with the new name since they own the trademark 'The Sporting Exchange' (a Google search will confirm). How about 'The Sporting Interchange', 'The Sporting Mix' or something similar - however, as you can guess, my background isn't in the creative professions :-)

Cricket on at 10.30 FPR 1/4 finals. Not sure what game they are showing on Sky, but should be worth watching and trading on, if you are prepared to watch it for most of the day.

Subtle shift of emphasis, we are now The Sporting Exchange.
So what, you might ask: well, we are a gentleman's club, unlike the Mother of all Disasters at Westminster (see J2E on Floating Duck Ponds elsewhere). Free exchange of opinions and ideas; no commercial benefit (well, look at the tips!); well-mannered Posts and polite exchanges on the Blog comments.
So there you are, bruvvers, you're now part of a democratic wave reacting to the antics and extravagances of our…

I should add a link to my own blog "The Gambler". This morning under the heading "An early morning update", I discuss the "MP Expenses Scandal", and the recent upturn in the UK and US economies. A story that has sadly gone unreported. Comments here, there, or wherever always welcome.

Apologies for the piggy faces. They got migrated in by error, and we are having problems getting rid of them.
We will try and fix it as soon as possible. Hopefully early next week.
In the meantime if anyone wants to repace their piggy face with a photo or an avatar, that might help.
An avatar is a computer user's representation of himself/herself or alter ego, whether in the form of a three-dimensional model used in computer games,[1] a two-dimensional icon… Continue
